That isn't paint, it is talc powder from mounting the tires.

Did a little cutting Tuesday night.

This one is of the driver side before I started, just for comparison. You can see where the old worn 32's were rubbing, so I new I needed to gain at least 1.5" more clearance. I think I got about 2" with the cutting I did.
